Guanghan Longrun Science & Trade Co., Ltd. was founded in April 2002 and is located in the Xiaohan Industrial Concentrated Development Zone of Guanghan, Sichuan. It is a technology-based enterprise integrating research, custom design, manufacturing and sales of superhard abrasive tools and rare-metal coating technologies, and KAIRUN is its flagship brand in superhard material tooling.
The company has worked in the superhard tool industry for more than thirty years, focusing on the design and manufacture of diamond and cubic boron nitride (CBN) tools. It has mastered core electroplating processes and electroplating bath formulations tailored to different product requirements, resolving the challenges of stability, bond strength, grit arrangement and high dimensional accuracy. A complete process chain runs in-house, from body machining through diamond deposition to post-treatment and inspection.
The company mass-produces hundreds of superhard special-shaped grinding, drilling, sawing and cutting tools. Grinding wheels centre on grooving, chamfering, radius and tobacco-blade sharpening types; mounted points centre on hole-milling, drilling and reaming heads; and the range also covers diamond files, lapping compound, drill bits and special-shaped parts. Dozens of rare-metal surface coating products based on tungsten-molybdenum and tungsten-titanium substrates complete an integrated wear-resistance and anti-corrosion solution.
Products serve aerospace, semiconductors, cemented carbide, silicon carbide, optical glass, fine ceramics, crystalline silicon, stone, rare metals, carbon fibre and composites. Custom work is accepted from drawings, samples or working-condition proposals: body material, diamond grit, concentration, plating thickness, working-face position and outer profile can all be adjusted on demand.
The company is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, holds eight authorised patents including one invention patent, and is a council member of the Chengdu Machinery Industry Association (fourth council) and a member of the Sichuan Surface Engineering Industry Association. Together with the Mianyang Science and Technology City New Area Special Materials Industrial Technology Research Institute it operates a Special Materials Precision Research Experimental Base.
