A hole-milling head with a cylindrical body and diamond-plated end and side faces, grooved in a cross or helical pattern for chip clearance and coolant flow. It rounds hole mouths and cleans cavity corners, and performs face milling on cemented carbide, mould steel, ceramics and composites. The plated layer bonds firmly to the body and lasts hundreds of holes per piece; shanks are available in Φ3–Φ10 straight or threaded form for machining centres, CNC mills and die grinders.
