Yibin Tianyuan Haifeng Hetai Co., Ltd. was founded in March 2016 with registered capital of RMB 1 billion and a site area of 484 mu (about 32 hectares) in the Jiang'an Economic Development Zone, Yibin, Sichuan. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yibin Tianyuan Group Co., Ltd. (SZSE: 002386) and the key "wing" of the group's "One Body, Two Wings" strategy — the core platform for its titanium chemical business, committed to leading China's chloride-process titanium dioxide industry.
Drawing on the group's chlor-alkali chlorine, caustic soda and utilities, the company has built a world-leading "chlorine–titanium–lithium" integrated green circular economy chain. Chlorination off-gas and waste salts are recovered in a closed loop inside the park so that chlorine is recycled, while the titanium dioxide and lithium iron phosphate precursor lines share chlor-alkali, cogeneration and environmental facilities. Resources are used in cascade and emissions stay close to zero, giving the company combined advantages in resources, industrial chain and R&D.
The company operates an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes of chloride-process titanium dioxide and 100,000 tonnes of lithium iron phosphate cathode material precursors. The pigment range centres on high-performance chloride-process rutile grades — TYR-568 for plastics, TYR-569 for polycarbonate, TYR-588 for coatings and TYR-596 for papermaking — covering plastics colouring, masterbatch, coatings, inks and decorative base paper. Products are made to GB/T 1706-2006 and supplied mainly in 25 kg paper-plastic bags, with 500 kg and 1000 kg bulk bags available.
The company has mastered the complete production technology for chloride-process titanium dioxide plants, the core technology of large-scale fluidised-bed chlorinators, and the key stages of oxidation, surface treatment and jet milling. The whole flow from raw material preparation through chlorination, purification and oxidation to finishing runs in-house, with major equipment and control systems localised; single-line capacity, continuous run length and batch consistency rank among the best in China. A Sichuan provincial enterprise technology centre and a provincial key pilot-testing platform support continuous development of high-weathering, high-opacity, easy-dispersing and low-volatility grades.
The company has been recognised as a National Green Factory, a National Green Design Product (titanium dioxide), a National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise, a national-level specialised and innovative "little giant" enterprise, a 2023 Benchmark Enterprise for Energy Efficiency Leadership (titanium dioxide), a Sichuan Provincial Enterprise Technology Centre, a Sichuan Key Pilot-Testing Platform for Manufacturing and a National High-Tech Enterprise. Its pigments also serve export markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
