A rutile titanium dioxide pigment produced by the chloride process with special inorganic surface treatment, dedicated to papermaking. Its high whiteness and fine, even particle size give high retention in the pulp with little loss, raising the opacity and brightness of the sheet while cutting pigment dosage. The inorganic coating suppresses photocatalytic activity, so lightfastness is good — no yellowing or fibre degradation under prolonged exposure — making it especially suitable for paper grades with demanding light resistance. Used as a wet-end additive and in surface coating for fine printing paper, art paper, whiteboard paper, decorative base paper and laminated paper, as well as thin paper, security paper and paper-based composites. Typical values: TiO2 ≥94%, whiteness ≥97, volatiles at 105 °C ≤0.5%, 45 μm residue ≤0.02%, to GB/T 1706-2006. Packed 25 kg in paper-plastic bags with PE liner, or 500 kg and 1000 kg bulk bags.
