Nabta (Shifang) Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd. is located in Hefeng Town, Shifang City, Deyang, Sichuan Province. Established in January 2000 as a Sino-foreign joint venture and a wholly owned subsidiary of Chengdu Nabta Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd., the company has a registered capital of RMB 991,872 and is represented by legal person Chen Debi. Backed by the raw-material and supporting advantages of the Shifang phosphorus chemical industrial belt, the plant operates self-designed and self-installed phosphoric acid and phosphate units and serves as the Sichuan production base and technology provider of the group's NABTA brand.
The company specializes in fully water-soluble phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, macronutrient and secondary/trace-element water-soluble fertilizers, humic-acid water-soluble fertilizers, compound microbial fertilizers and fine phosphorus chemicals. Its four product lines — phosphates, sulphates, water-soluble NPK and chelated micronutrients — cover monopotassium phosphate (MKP 0-52-34), monoammonium phosphate (MAP 12-61-00), urea phosphate (UP 17-44-0), ammonium sulphate, magnesium sulphate, and EDTA/EDDHA chelated micronutrients, with an annual capacity on the scale of 200,000 tonnes. Beyond standard grades, formulas can be customized to crop, soil and application method, and the company also provides process package design and plant upgrading services.
Quality and technical service are central to the operation. The company is registered to the ISO 9001 quality system by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and certified to ISO 9001 by the China Quality Certification Centre, and has completed CDFA and FDA registration as well as EU REACH and Kosher certification. It was recognized as a Sichuan Provincial High-Tech Enterprise in 2003 and has been named an Advanced Export Enterprise by the local government for consecutive years. NABTA-branded products, together with the Feilifeng, Libaoduo, Funongduo, Daopeng, Gaojia, Fujiatianxia, Linbang and Haileier series, are sold to more than 40 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, South Africa, Korea, Japan, Thailand, India, Malaysia, Australia, Italy and Spain, with dedicated distribution in the USA, Indonesia and Kazakhstan. In 2020 the group commissioned a new plant of BFC (Chongqing) Technology Co., Ltd. in Changshou, Chongqing, adding calcium ammonium nitrate and compound fertilizer capacity and forming a complementary layout with the Shifang base.
