Sichuan Fiberglass Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sichuan Fiberglass" or "the Company") is a third-front enterprise founded in 1968 through the partial relocation of Shanghai Yaohua Glass Factory and put into production in 1970. It is currently a subsidiary of Sichuan Furun Enterprise Restructuring Investment Co., Ltd., a provincial state-owned enterprise. The Company covers an area of over 800 mu, with total assets of RMB 1.4 billion and more than 1,100 employees, including over 300 professional technicians. Its annual capacity includes 30,000 tons of alkali-free fiberglass fine yarn (3μm-9μm), 80 million meters of fiberglass fabric, over 2,000 tons of optical glass, and over 600 tons of copper-clad laminates. The Company owns five subsidiaries, including Sichuan Tianquan Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Tianrun Basalt Technology Co., Ltd. As the founder, pioneer, and developer of the fiberglass industry in Southwest China, the Company is one of China's key production bases for electrical insulation and electronic fiberglass materials, a leading electronic fiberglass enterprise in western China, the pioneer of China's basalt fiber tank-kiln production process, and China's continuous basalt fiber production base, as well as a National High-Tech Enterprise. It has received honors including "Advanced Enterprise of the National Building Materials Industry," the "Sichuan May 1st Labor Award (2021)," "2020 China Building Materials Top 500," and "2019 China Fiberglass Top 10." In August 2020, the Company completed the world's first 10,000-ton continuous basalt tank-kiln demonstration production line, and was awarded the titles of "China Continuous Basalt Fiber Production Base" by the China Fiberglass Industry Association and the China Composites Industry Association, and "Sichuan Basalt Fiber Industry Base" by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology. Seizing the strategic opportunity to vigorously develop advanced materials, the Company is accelerating the construction of an inorganic non-metallic materials industrial park centered on fiberglass materials, basalt materials, optical materials, and composite materials, having initially established a "fiber production base" and a "products processing base," striving to become a large enterprise group specialized in the R&D and production of inorganic non-metallic materials and a professional supplier of such materials in China.
