Founded in 1966, Sinohydro Jiajiang Hydraulic Machinery Co., Ltd. ('Jiajiang Waterpower') is a specialized enterprise engaged in the manufacture of various hoisting equipment, super-large metal structures, and major equipment machinery. It has independent import-export rights and is a national high-tech enterprise, a 'specialized, sophisticated and innovative' enterprise, one of Sichuan's top 50 machinery industry enterprises, and a backbone equipment manufacturing enterprise of PowerChina, under Sinohydro Bureau 7 Co., Ltd. Adhering to integrated industry, diversified products, and international business development strategies, it has built a full industrial chain business model covering R&D design, manufacturing and installation, technical services, and overhaul and maintenance, with three coordinated business segments: traditional business, non-traditional business, and international engineering. It has professional manufacturing bases in Jiajiang (Sichuan), Nyingchi (Tibet), and Vung Tau (Vietnam), with more than 1,200 sets of specialized production and testing equipment and an annual capacity of over 200,000 tons of metal structure manufacturing and installation. It has completed product manufacturing and installation with high quality for the Muskrat Falls project in Canada, the Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Station in Pakistan, the Xianping Hydropower Station in Laos, and wind power projects in Vietnam.
