Sichuan Lomon Phosphorous Chemistry Co., Ltd. ("Lomon Phosphorous Chemical") was founded on 24 April 2003 under the name Deyang Longlin Mining Co., Ltd. and was renamed to its present title in December 2009. Registered at Xinshi Industrial Development Zone (Zone A), Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province, with registered capital of RMB 1 billion (unified social credit code 91510600749611153A), the company is wholly owned by Lomon Land Agriculture Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sichuan Development Lomon Co., Ltd. (SZSE: 002312), which in turn belongs to the Sichuan Development (Holding) Co., Ltd. group.
The company integrates the R&D, production and sales of fertiliser-grade, feed-grade and industrial-grade phosphates and ranks among the leading enterprises in China's fine phosphate chemicals segment. Its capacities comprise 400,000 t/y of phosphoric acid, 600,000 t/y of sulphuric acid and 100,000 t/y of synthetic ammonia (all for captive use), together with 800,000 t/y of phosphates for external sale (440,000 t/y powdered ammonium phosphate, 60,000 t/y granular ammonium phosphate, 200,000 t/y industrial ammonium phosphate and 100,000 t/y water-soluble ammonium phosphate). More than 20% of output is exported worldwide. In 2024 the company employed 1,843 people and recorded operating revenue of RMB 4.983 billion.
Main products include industrial-grade monoammonium phosphate (MAP), fertiliser-grade MAP (powdered, granular and water-soluble), monopotassium phosphate (MKP) and feed-grade dicalcium phosphate, together with supporting products such as sulphuric acid and synthetic ammonia. Extending downstream, the company also offers compound fertiliser series including fulvic-acid compound fertiliser, new-type spray-granulated fertiliser, special fertiliser and ecological fertiliser, as well as phosphogypsum-based building materials such as α high-strength gypsum powder, β building gypsum powder, lightweight gypsum plaster, gypsum self-levelling mortar, high-density gypsum blocks and gypsum wall panels.
The company hosts research platforms including the Sichuan Fine Phosphate & Clean Production Engineering Technology Research Centre, the Sichuan Provincial Enterprise Technology Centre, the Sichuan Engineering Research Centre and academician/expert workstations at provincial and municipal level. It is a State-recognised Enterprise Technology Centre, a National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprise and a Sichuan Provincial Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprise. Through a Green Factory management system it has established quality, environmental, occupational health and safety and energy management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001) and was named a "2023 Green Factory of the Petroleum and Chemical Industry". It pioneered MVR and multi-effect evaporation energy-saving technology, waste-heat and waste-pressure recovery, washing-water recycling and co-combustion of titanium dioxide waste acid and residue for acid production, embedding energy saving and carbon reduction throughout technological innovation management, quality management and supply-chain management.
Guided by the strategy of "scarce resources + core technology + industrial integration + advanced mechanisms" and the approach of "vertical chaining and horizontal circulation", the company is deeply engaged in the "sulphur-phosphorus-titanium-iron-lithium-calcium" multi-resource green circular economy industrial chain. It is advancing a RMB 497 million energy-saving and environmental-protection upgrade of its phosphate facilities, comprising a 300,000 t/y wet-process phosphoric acid upgrading unit, a 200,000 t/y purified wet-process phosphoric acid (PPA) unit, a 120,000 t/y monopotassium phosphate unit, a 60,000 t/y lithium dihydrogen phosphate unit and a supporting 10,000 t/y anhydrous hydrogen fluoride unit, while actively developing new-energy materials such as iron phosphate and lithium iron phosphate to build a second growth curve. The company is steadily advancing towards becoming a first-class chemical new-materials enterprise with domestic industry leadership and global competitiveness.
