A coating-grade ferrophosphorus powder whose granular and lamellar particles form a physical barrier in the film, blocking water, oxygen and chloride ingress and slowing substrate corrosion. Compounded with zinc dust in zinc-rich primers it cuts zinc consumption, improves workability and reduces settling, while raising film hardness, abrasion resistance, adhesion, salt-spray and chemical resistance and lending slight conductivity for static-dissipative systems. Silver-grey to dark grey with P 22.0–26.0%, moisture ≤0.2%, oil absorption 12–20 g/100 g, bulk density 2.2–3.2 g/cm³, true density 4.5–7.0 g/cm³ and melting point 1050–1100 °C. Used in epoxy zinc-rich primers, shop primers and anti-corrosion systems for steel structures, bridges, pipelines, containers and construction machinery, as well as powder metallurgy, welding consumables and conductive coatings. Packed 25 kg in PE-lined bags or 500/1000 kg bulk bags.
