Chloride-process rutile titanium dioxide pigment designed for engineering plastics and outdoor weather-resistant films. Typical properties: TiO2 content 94%, silica/alumina inorganic coating, organic treatment, oil absorption 16 g/100 g, specific gravity 4.1 g/cm3, ISO 591 type R2. The special surface treatment gives excellent resistance to yellowing and to polyester-system degradation, good dispersion, bright whiteness, opacity, tinting strength, heat resistance and weather resistance.
