Monoammonium phosphate (MAP 12-61-0) is one of the most widely used high-phosphorus water-soluble fertilizers. It suits a broad range of crops and performs especially well on alkaline soils, supplying the phosphorus and nitrogen crops require, and may be applied as a base dressing or through flushing and drip irrigation. In industry it serves as a flame retardant for wood, paper and textiles, a dispersant in fibre processing and dyestuffs, a component of fire-retardant coatings and a dry-powder fire-extinguishing agent. Produced from 85% phosphoric acid so that quality is controlled from the source, with a high main content. Packed in 25 kg bags with an inner plastic liner and an outer woven bag, neutral packing; store in a ventilated, dry place.
