The HDM horizontal disc bead mill series offers a cylinder volume of 100/150/200/300 L, a batch capacity of 500–3000 L and motor power of 55/75/90/110 kW. Built on a modular "building-block" structure with special polyurethane-coated wear parts and a new dynamic turbine media separation system, it provides high energy density, comparatively low power consumption and intelligent control. It is widely used for ultra-fine grinding of titanium dioxide, chemical fibre, pigments, calcium carbonate, zirconia, alumina, boron carbide, silicon nitride and zirconium silicate.
