Obtained from the root and rhizome of Polygonum cuspidatum. The main actives are resveratrol and polydatin (the glycoside form of resveratrol, which is more stable). Renowned for potent antioxidant/anti-aging, cardiovascular protection and photoprotection. Available as resveratrol 5%–99% HPLC, water-soluble 5%–10%, polydatin 20%–99% HPLC and emodin 5%–95% HPLC.
