Sodium Silicate (Water Glass)
Commonly known as liquid water glass or sodium silicate cullet, it is a colorless or slightly colored transparent to translucent viscous liquid. The modulus can be customized to low (M=2.20-2.50), medium (M=2.60-2.90) and high (M=3.10-3.40) specifications.
It features strong adhesion, high strength and good acid and heat resistance. It is widely used in light industry (raw material for detergents such as washing powder and soap, water softener, settling aid), the textile industry (dyeing aid, bleaching, sizing), the machinery industry (casting, grinding wheel manufacturing, metal anti-corrosion) and the construction industry (quick-setting cement, acid-resistant cement, waterproof oil, soil stabilizer, refractory materials), as well as agricultural silicon fertilizer, silica-alumina catalysts for petroleum catalytic cracking, corrugated paper adhesives, high-temperature resistant materials such as laboratory crucibles, mining ore dressing, waterproofing and leak plugging, wood fireproofing and food preservation.
