A boehmite nano alumina of the same family as DA406 but with a higher specific surface area (180±10 m²/g) and a more developed pore structure, giving greater ink capacity. It suits the ink-receiving layer of photo-grade inkjet media with high ink loads and high print resolution, as well as applications that demand high coating clarity and fast drying. The powder disperses in water without physical or chemical pre-treatment; about 40 minutes of dispersion gives a uniform, stable hydrosol, optionally with low-molecular-weight PVA such as BP-24 or BP-224. Store sealed and dry; avoid prolonged dust contact with skin and eyes.
