Sulphate-process rutile titanium dioxide pigment with alumina inorganic surface treatment, designed for masterbatch and polymer applications. Typical properties: TiO2 content 98%, alumina inorganic coating, organic treatment, volatile matter at 105 C max. 0.4%, tapped bulk density 1.1 g/cm3, oil absorption 15 g/100 g, specific gravity 4.1 g/cm3, ISO 591 type R1. It disperses extremely easily in polyolefin systems with minimal effect on melt flow index, so even high-loading TiO2 masterbatch can produce films with high whiteness and opacity.
