Chemical formula NH4H2PO4; molecular weight 115.03; standard HG/T 4133-2010; appearance white crystal or powder; net weight 50 kg, total nutrients (N+P2O5) ≥61.0%. Industrial monoammonium phosphate (MAP) is an excellent flame retardant and fire-extinguishing agent widely used to flame-retard wood, paper and textiles, and as a dispersant in fibre processing and the dyestuff industry, a glaze for enamels, a component of fire-retardant coatings and of dry-powder extinguishers. It also serves as a premium fertiliser and is a principal raw material for iron phosphate, the precursor of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials.
