Changjiang Red · Huangtan

Changjiang Red · Huangtan is produced by Sichuan Chuanhong Tea Group Co., Ltd. "Changjiang Red" is the group's flagship innovation series, developed over more than ten years, which creatively combines two intangible cultural heritage techniques — "Chuanhong Gongfu" black tea and "Nanlu Biancha" (South Road border tea) — and is presented as a compressed black tea, ideal for both drinking and collecting.

Huangtan is the top edition of the Changjiang Red series. Its raw material comes from organic high-mountain ancient-tree tea gardens above 1,200 m in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, hand-picked from wild-grown Sichuan small-and-medium-leaf group tea trees more than 100 years old. Each cake has a net weight of 357 g, and annual production is limited to 501 cakes. The aroma combines sweet, floral and woody notes; the taste is mellow, sweet and refreshing, with a long aftertaste and excellent durability over many infusions. The compressed form supports long-term storage, and under suitable conditions the tea can be aged for years. The product complies with the Chinese national standard GB/T 13738.2, and the Changjiang Red series was honoured as a five-star product in the 2024 "China Good Black Tea" awards.

It is presented in a rosewood-finish gift box containing one 357 g tea cake — ideal for gifting and collecting.
