Soy isoflavones are polyphenolic secondary metabolites of soybean, a class of bioflavonoids and plant estrogens comprising daidzin, genistin and glycitin groups. They exert both estrogen-like and anti-estrogenic effects, relieving menopausal symptoms, preventing osteoporosis, lowering cholesterol and supporting cardiovascular health. Available as glycoside 5%–95%, aglycone 5%–80%, water-soluble 5% and S-Equal 1%–99% HPLC grades.
