White powder or granules, readily soluble in water and dilute alkali solutions, insoluble in alcohol and acid, alkaline in aqueous solution, and easily hygroscopic and deliquescent when exposed to air.
It is used in various detergents, metal surface treatment, ceramic grinding aids, refractory raw materials, water-retaining agent raw materials, degreasing textile printing and dyeing auxiliaries and paper deinking agents, and can also serve as a stabilizer for peroxide bleaching. Reference indices: Na2O 21.5-23.0%, SiO2 21.0-22.5%, water-insoluble matter no more than 0.20%, iron content no more than 200 ppm, whiteness no less than 75. Packing: inner plastic and outer woven bag, 25 kg per bag. Storage and transportation: keep in a cool, ventilated and dry place and protect from moisture, rain and sunlight.
