Gray Calcium (Calcium Oxide)
Gray calcium is calcium oxide. It was first used in construction for bricklaying, wall building and coating. As its uses have become increasingly recognized, it has been widely applied in industry, agriculture, construction, manufacturing and the food industry, specifically in putty powder, emulsion paints, insulation mortar, architectural coatings, wires and cables and plastic-steel doors and windows, as well as in flue gas desulphurization and wastewater treatment.
Because gray calcium powder can give coatings excellent performance at relatively low cost, and in line with new national standard requirements, it is applied in synthetic resin emulsion coatings so that the coatings meet GB/T 9756-2001 and GB 18582-2001 at lower cost, with good container condition, levelling and film feel.
